The strings for the open/close mechanism will tangle so badly that you will not be able to use these traps at all.

This product bends very easily & are not at all as sturdy as the four sided models. The strings break, tangle or most often both. Frequent on the fly fixes are necessary if you have the misfortune of purchasing these traps.
