I bought this after looking at the very comparable Penn 310 which is about the same money. The Pflueger has better construction, is super smooth, and works flawlessly. I find it's easy to cast without backlashing even with a large bait rig. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Gives me a bit extra when fishing for the 20+ pounders, yet it's not a big bulky reel.
