A dramatic departure from traditional Penn styling, these two Super Level Winds are designed for serious fishing applications; such as wreck fishing for snapper, grouper, cobia and amberjack; trolling for bluefish and king mackerel; or drifting for Alaskan halibut. These are big level wind reels, yet they're easy to use, thanks to features like four ball bearings, a lightweight graphite frame, large handle and a newly designed polymer star drag wheel. Both feature a 3.25:1 gear ratio. 340GTi is a 4/0 that holds 475 yards/30lb. test. 345GTi is a 5/0 that holds 375 yards/50lb. test.

The gears hang up when tilted in 1 direction. It did it right out of the box new. Works ok and is pretty tough other than the loose play side to side. Tilt it over to the left, works fine, tilt it to the handle, it hangs up of free spool and retrieve. Been useing it too much to return for repair. very strong drag on it
