ICHOSE THE PENN 330 FOR DEEP SEA USE. IT HAS BOTH THE LINE CAPACITY AND DURABILITY THAT I NEED. 9/09 I WENT TO SITUATE MA. FOR COD FISHING. WE FISHED IN OVER 250 FEET OF WATER. THE PENN 330 IS THE PERFECT CHOICE. ENOUGH LINE TO REACH BOTTOM AND THEN SOME. EASY RETRIEVE, GREAT GEARING MADE REELING IN 15LB FISH NO PROBLEM EVEN FROM 250FEET.

Just a workhorse of a reel for ocean fishing. Have caught grouper, black sea bass, white sea bass, yellowtail, and lots of smaller fish with this reel. Have used it for trolling, jigging, and deep bottom fishing and it performs like a champ. Easy to take apart for cleaning and maintenance.
