I FISH ON THE OCEAN FROM A SIT ON TOP KAYAK THAT I LAUNCH THROUGH THE SURF. THIS REEL IS DURABLE AND HAS A QUALITY DRAG ,YET IS INEXPENSIVE. IT ALSO HOLDS ENOUGH #30 TO STOP LARGE FISH. PENN IS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT MAKES REELS THAT I CAN USE PRACTICALLY. I HAVE CAUGHT TARPON TO #150+, JACK CRAVELLE TO #40, GROUPER TO #18 AND OTHERS ON THESE REELS. THANKS, ROBERT SENG.

This is the reel used by the snag fishers in my area this reel is very tough and really easy to work on and find replacement parts for.
