I did some research on the catalina reel and decided that the price was right so i bought it. I have not had the chance to use this yet. Right out of the box, it feels cheap. weather this will hold up over the years remains to be seen. From what I have read about other okuma products hopefully this one stands the test of time.

I was impressed with it. The combo came with a 6'6 rollor rod that feels sturdy and has a rather nimble action so im hoping this will be a fun combo for jigging.

terrible service, it took 4 calls to get something resolved. they forgot a peice that came with the fishing pole. they seem very unorganized. the 10% off is great but really not worth the extra aggrivation of constantly dealing with them. unless they have some crazy deal i will probably not shop with them again. also the online store and the retail stores are seperate entities and do not affiliate with each other.
