(based on 1 ratings)
Brand: Okuma
Located in: conventional/trolling reels
Available with a standard or wide spool in a single or two-speed, these reels were designed with the needs of the big game fisherman in mind. The lever drag is quick to operate and gives you the advantage in an all out battle with a saltwater brute. All controls are placed where you can reach them without having to switch hands. Built with same quality and material as the Titus Gold, this reel provides the same strength and power as one would receive from the Big Game Gold reels that are twice as expensive. The only difference is this has a handsome charcoal gray finish and polished hardware. Five sealed stainless ball bearings for assured smoothness, and a stainless steel pinion and main gears for the strongest gearing available. The lever drag, with oversized composite and sealed stainless steel drag washers, screams to take on the likes of big tuna and hot rods like wahoo. Gear ratio: 3.1:1. Line capacity: 500 yds. 50 lb. test.

Comments about Okuma Okuma Titus Silver Lever Drag Reel:

I had Penn Internationals all my fishing life - from 12-T's to 130's. I took a respite from offshore fishing for 4 years but got the bug back a couple of years ago. Because I had sold my Internationals, I had to start all over. I looked at all the "name" brands but settled on Okuma. They are evrey bit as good as Penn, Shimano, and Diawa, and as a plus - they are about 1/2 the price. They reel great and the fish don't know that I saved hundreds! I have 2 TS 50 W's and 2 TS 50 W-II's. They're high quality reels. Why pay more?
