Been from the east coast to the west coast. Used this unit 2 years now and just love it. I had a smaller unit, but could not see the screen well enough as an older gentleman. When you go from one coast to the other it takes a few minutes to set up the satellites, but then on its only a short lookup. My friend has the garmin 7", but it's too big for my car. I'm very happy with lowrance...

Great product!! The maps are awesome. I keep it in my truck at all times. The best feature I think is the FIND feature. Hit the find button, click on Gas Station. Voila! The nearest gas stations around you, and it re-routes you to them. How cool is that? The marine navigation works great too for all you boaters out there. I found all kinds of ships my old Garmin never told me about. Highly Recommend
