I replaced a couple of the old white plastic latches that were broken and had turned yellow. They are installed on the flat storage compartment doors of my bay boat. The boat spends most of its time in full sun and is always in a saltwater enviroment. The new stainless steel latches are beautiful and should last the lifetime of the boat. If they weren't so expensive I would have rated them 5 stars.

Drop in replacement for Mako 221 plastic latches. Very well made with excellent high gloss finish. Should last indefinitely with minimum care.

I will never have to replace this latch!

A replacment part that will never have to be replaced again !! It does not get any better then that.As every boat owner knows a boat is a hole in the water you throw money into !! And when you have replace or repair something it is nice to to know that it will be the last time you throw money into that part of the hole, Which means the hole is not as deep any more leaving more money for more important things.THANKS BoatersWorld!!!
