Comments about Marine Pro Marine Pro 10 Cup Deluxe Coffe Maker:
It takes 45 minutes to make 12 cups of coffee. This information was ONLY provided on the box after it arrived. If I had that information beforehand, I would not have purchased the product.

Comments about Marine Pro Marine Pro 10 Cup Deluxe Coffe Maker:
As a truck driver coffee is made the night before to fill a thermos and reheated in a travel mug.
I can prepare my coffee and dinner at the same time while finishing daily paperwork. This saves time trying to brew a pot first thing in the morning when trying to deliver the product to the customer.
The 12v plug end did not last long, after about the third use, the heat caused the fuse cover threads to strip and wear away. After using the appliance I have to pull the fuse cover out of the outlet with pliers.
Would not recommend trying to use this product in any vehicle while it is in motion, the coffee or hot water may splash out of the carafe and get under the heating element causing it to short out. The stabilizing bracket would not help for my application, not sure about boats as I do not have one.

Don't waste your money! It says it will brew coffee in 45 minutes! HA what joke, the darn thing took that long just to heat up.
Not worth it. We actually threw it in the trash.

Comments about Marine Pro Marine Pro 10 Cup Deluxe Coffe Maker:
We bought this for our new sailboat, so we're also new to the 12 V world. From the ads and even the outside of the box, it looks like a standard coffee maker, so we ordered one (from someone else - it was cheaper than Boater's world, sorry!) The box came in the mail - looked good - typical plastic drip coffee maker. However, inside, on a little piece of paper with a few comments, it says that it will make 10 cups of coffee in about 45 minutes. Funny, how the manufacturer won't makes this information available until after you buy it. I can't imagine getting up in the morning and waiting that long for a cup of coffee, and I tend to find coffee that's been sitting on a hotplate for 45 minutes starts to taste a bit "burned". So, buyer, buy with your eyes open. Related note - I found a comment concerning a $100 12 V, 10 cup drip coffee pot that said it would make one cup in about 5 minutes, so perhaps this is the state of the art for 12 V coffee, but why even bother to market something with such a low performance statistic?
