Perfect for boats and SUV's! Plugs directly into a cigarette lighter socket. Comes with a 36'' flexible hose with swivel cuffs, which makes it easy to get in those hard to reach spots. Did not work out of the box. Found a wire to the switch broken off due to a cold solder joint and stress from bad assembly design. During repair found that the other solder joints on the switch and motor were also cold & defective. Suction is what I would expect for the price & quality. Works OK for my use - clipped to a 12V gel cell battery & removing fine gold from bedrock cracks.

it is practical if you have a small spot and it is helpfull to take to your car or your boat, but it has a limited capacity.

The Wet Dry Vac arrived in good condition. The vacumn had lots of suction and made short work of the dog hair and beach sand which builds up on our boat. It also cleaned the velour seat cushions quickly. The vacumn was easy to empty, The vacumn cover was difficult to reinstall after emptying. The cover clamps have an unusual locking mechanism which requires practice to use. the cover had to be put in a certain unmarked spot each time before closing. The clamps pop on , so watch your finger tips for pinching. I am not happy with the cover mechanism, but a 12 volt vacumn with enough suction power to remove wet beach sand and dog hair is hard to find and a real time saver!
