Just throw and go! No chain required, half the anchor line, and no powering down! The Box Anchor will set on either side as it falls. In deep or shallow water, its fixed scoop design and narrow side panels set like a "cookie cutter" into sand, mud, grass, or rock. Wind or current change flips and resets the anchor in seconds. The Box Anchor folds down flat for easy storage. Easy retrieval in any condition. Includes stainless steel hardware and storage bag. (Chain may be needed for rough seas). Medium, for boats up to 30'.

Comments about Slide Anchor Slide Anchor Box Anchor:

This anchor works! The salesman told me it was "idiot-proof" meaning that anyone could set this anchor. He was right. I lowered it from the bow in heavy current and chop with a 2:1 scope and I was locked with no anchor drag whatsoever. I couldn't believe it so I hauled the anchor back in, moved the boat a few hundred feet and tried again. I set the anchor the second time just as sucessfully!

Pretty much works as manufacturer claims

Comments about Slide Anchor Slide Anchor Box Anchor:

The anchor holds well on gravel, rock, mud. I use no chain. Seems to hold with 2:1 ratio is manufacturer claims except in very shallow water (like less than 10 ft) if there are any significant waves. (This is obviously not surprising.)

Im seriously impressed with this thing. Its worth paying for. I dont worry about my boat anchored overnight in wind anymore. Thats worth quite a bit more than this thing costs.
