Comments about Magma Magma Newport Gas BBQ Grill:

Descent grill for small grill outs. I keep it on a rail above my swim platform so it stays out of the way pretty well. You can fit 4 (5 MAX)normal sized burgers on it but put more then 2 burgers on at a time and the flames start pouring out. I bought an extra fire extinguisher after the first time I used it because the flames were so bad but I had 4 burgers on it (the kids thought it was cool though, I on the other hand ... not so much). The drip pan does a good job of catching any grease. I was able to cook 3 small steaks faster then I thought I would be able to, but im sure the flames helped alot with that, plus I had to constantly move them around because the right side of the grill seems to be hotter then the rest. As of right now I'm still happy with it. [...]

Comments about Magma Magma Newport Gas BBQ Grill:

I had to chuckle a bit at the fellow from Florida who complained because the burner and radiant plate corroded after "only 4 years of light use." Mine also has corroded...but I don't blame the product. It's a fact of life if you operate in a marine environment and don't store it properly. But replacement parts are expensive, so I'm just buying a new one. I think it cooks great.

One side seems to be hotter then the other, alot better then using my sunbeam tabletop, I have it on the side of the boat and out of the way of eating.

Don't clean it
By Helmsman from Melbourne, Florida on 1/15/2007
Pros:
Adequate, but poorly made
Cons:
Expensive, Low Quality
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Magma Magma Newport Gas BBQ Grill:

After 4 years of very light use, the burner and radiant plate corroded through.
The piezo ignitor worked until the first time I cleaned the grill. Then it never worked again.
High priced for the quality of workmanship.
