Comments about Magma Magma Catalina Marine Gas Grill:

We have been trying to use a MAGMA Catalina on our sailboat for the past year. On the plus side, it looks good, is easy to disassemble and clean, and is stainless. On the down side:This thing will only stay lit if there is NO wind. Having NO wind doesn't seem to work with the whole sailboat concept, so it's essentially a useless piece of expensive rail candy taking up space. The igniter lasts a couple of months at best. No, you can't buy a replacement at West Marine, but MAGMA would be glad to sell you one for [$].After a frustrating year of attempted use, I would say this thing is great if you never leave the dock, have no wind, and keep a bunch of matches handy. Otherwise, keep looking.
