i have 3 on my 2006 ,18 foot centre console boat and i have had to replaced them all. because the little shaft isnt sealing the water out and it keeps burning up motor then blows the fuse,nothing like having fish in live well and pump burns up or when u need the bilge pump and its fried when ur 5 miles in chesapeake bay on a rough day,first week i had the boat in water brand new the bilge pump one burnt up due to leakage around shaft ,so i used the one in the live well to get by that day.

it is easy to use unfasten the saftey lock and twist out, it is everything the mfg says it is and much easier than replacing the whole unit.
