Comments about Greenfield Greenfield Poly Coated Slip Ring Anchor:

Anchor does not hold well in even moderate conditions. I beleive this is due to a design flaw where the crossbar is not attached at the fluke, but rather above them. Anchor is dangerous and cannot be relied upon in any type of bottom.

Comments about Greenfield Greenfield Poly Coated Slip Ring Anchor:

Purchased the 11 lb anchor for my Regulator 23 center console thinking it would be good for anchoring up on reefs for black fish season. Often it is difficult to get the anchor out of the rocks and I thought the slip ring would make life easier. The first time I used it it was a calm day and it worked very well. The second time we had winds at 20 mph gusting to 25 with 2 to 3 foot seas. The anchor bent and twisted and was unable to handle the working load. It was in such bad shape when I hauled it up that I removed the shackle connecting it to the chain and tossed it in sea. While this product may be satisfactory on calm days with light loads, it should not to be relied upon with even moderate conditions.
