The most compact vertical windlass on the market today, the Sprint 400 Windlass has a low profile design that leaves the foredeck clear and unobstructed. Developed for maximum efficiency, the spur gear box creates less amperage draw while allowing the use of smaller gauge wine. The 6-pocket rope/chain gypsy handles 1/2" three-strand rope and 1/4" G4 Hi-Test chain. The permanent magnet motor is supplied with protective boot to guard against chain chaffing. Designed for boats up to 29', the Sprint 400 has power down speed of 90' per minute, 12 volt, 150 watt motor, 400lb maximum pulling power, and weighs 15 lbs. The Sprint 400 kit also includes up/down toggle switch, 23 amp breaker for single switch stations and stainless steel mounting screws.
