Comments about IMTRA IMTRA Up/Down Toggle Switch for Windlass:

This looked just like the original dashboard switch that was operating my Simpson Lawrence Horizon 400 anchor windlass but there were no photos of the back of the switch. Upon receipt I found that this is a double throw, double pole switch. The above windlass requires a four connection crossover switch that actually changes the polarity of the electrical feed to the windlass motor. It is a heavy duty switch because the full power goes through the swich to the motor without the use of solenoids. Pull your switch and if it has 4 wires connected to the back (fairly heavy duty wires) this switch will NOT work.
