AIRHEAD® BIG SLICE®

You?ll really slice up the water with this 58" diameter low profile towable! Peak performance is guaranteed with Slice?s topside neoprene panel, 4 nylon-wrapped handles and neoprene knuckle guards, an Airhead exclusive. The durable 30-gauge virgin PVC bladder is fully encased by a double-stitched nylon cover with a reinforced internal tow harness.

Slice is equipped with a super-convenient Kwik-Connect for easy hook-ups and a Boston Valve for fast inflating and deflating. It?s easy to climb onto Slice from the water; it?s tapered to only 6 in. high at the back. Designed for 1 or 2 riders.

Bought this as an additional towable to double tube with our other towable (Razer)..First ride was okay, every pull after that caused immediate 'submarining' effect, We tried 1) changing ropes,2)positioning on the very back 3)single tubing only...none helped..there may be a design flaw with this..I have a Searay 240SD which creates a fairly decent wake..but this tube was frustrating and we are taking it back after just one day...

This is a great tube for double riders except when both riders fall off. The tube takes a nose dive and it makes it hard on the boat to whip around and pick the riders up quickly. The comfort level is great and it is fun to watch them hit the waves. Only down fall is the tube taking the nose dive, everything else is great.

We have both kids and adults that ride this tube and it has been equaly fun for all ages and begginers to our more experienced riders. I was a little worried because of reviews I had read in the past but this tube has been great. The only drawbacks have been that it is fairly easy to submarine the tube during take off if the rider is to far forward. Once up and running there has been no issues. Also the zipper in the very back of the tube will open by itself during use. I was told to make sure you have it inflated properly and it wont tear apart like other reports and so far the construction of this tube has been great. Can't beat the price either!

This is a great towable for a first timer. I tow it using a pontoon boat with no problem. I've used it all summer long and have yet had a problem or complaint.

Kids love it. Easy for kids to board since it has a low back height and grab handles. May take shy kids a couple of rides to get use to it. Since you sit or lie on top, not inside like some others. Fun factor is great for kids

Great price - poor quality. Neoprene pad on deck came unraveled on second use. Airhead did replace. Low tow point causes annoying spray. Bought to replace a blown out Obrien Screamer that was rode hard for 10 years before ruptured teh inner tube. Very disappointed - the Airhead doesnt ride or jump as well. Much less "air" on jumps. Hand holds are not located as well as Obrien. Pretty much a big let down. :(

We bought this tube at Boaters World on July 17, 2006. We used it 6-8 times last year, very light use because we also ski and use a Big Mable with our 6 and 4 year old children. We used the Airhead Slice a couple more times this year and then on July 1, 2007 the tube hit a wake, bounced the rider and the tube ripped at the seam, the rip around the perimeter of the tube was over 60 inches long and thus not repairable. The tube probably only had a few hours of use and had always been stored dry in our storage shed at our lake property. Since we did not have the extended warranty [...] and the [...] manufacturers warranty is only 90 days we had to trash it. Last one of these for me.

One of our favorite tubes, fun to ride, neoprene is comfortable. Also easy for beginners and those with less arm strength to board because it sits low in the back with grab handles.

You can’t beat the price of this tube, but beware you get what you pay for. The tube sits very low in the water and has an extremely low tow point. This causes water to splash in the rider’s eyes the entire time. The tube is good for one adult or two children. Very fast and choppy ride for the extreme rider.

All in all I give this tube a 2 out of 5.
