Comments about On The Edge Rope and Pulley Harness:

Bought this at a local shop and was impressed by the plastic covered cable instead of the other nylon rope types. I thought it would hold up to the sun and use well. When I hooked it to the transom and the ski rope, the cable and quick connect end both sank. It left it dangerously close to the prop of my outboard (then the cable seemed to be too strong to need to tangle in a running prop!). Very sturdy, but not effective. I'm sure once I would have started pulling someone on a tube or wakeboard it would have planed to the surface, but it made me too nervous to try it. You may be able to attach floats somehow, but I don't know why you wouldn't just buy a floating nylon type that would work off the shelf.
