The lures potential is great. I believe the mass production has created some inconsistencies. Some of the lures sink and some float. The single hook can become dislodged from the lure after a few quality fish. Also the lure can sink after it fills with water if it has a leak in its frame... But it does catch fish and draws strikes even when it is sitting still. For the price it has a place in your tackle box if you are after larger bass. I use the lure in clear water over vegetation, and swim in it slowly along submerged timber. I have to date caught a 7.5 pounder and have had caught many in the 5lb class. I also had a 10 pounder come up and bump the lure. This lure gets the attention of fish that would ignore a smaller, less realistic presentation.
