Titus T-50W Lever Drag Reel
The workhorse of the Okuma line, these reels have built the reputation for reliability and unbeatable value in saltwater fishing. Redesigned and renamed, Titus features anodized aluminum spools, stainless steel power handles, 4 sealed stainless steel ball bearings, machined cut reel frames and a smoother more efficient drag. The bodies of the reels are made high strength, high grade graphite titanium. Designed to stand up to long hard battles, the balanced one-piece spools offer smooth operation. The precision manufacturing process allows them to stand higher pressure than other spools. The lever drag has adjustable pre-sets and allow quick, accurate drag adjustments and the extra large drag composite drag washers are designed to withstand high heat encountered during long battles. The wide spool allows a higher line capacity. Gear ratio: 3.1:1. Line capacity: 700 yds. 50 lb. test.

Other guides on RS rods are PacBay Silver BHG Triple Foot guides with HIALOY inserts for smooth line travel and reduced line wear. Large Roller tip-tops on A & RS models rotate fewer times, creating less friction, and providing additional knot clearance. Each foregrip is constructed from a cushioned foam that resists deforming and offers a positive hold during long battles. On our A series you will find Stuart detachable machined, anodized aluminum butts with integral machined aluminum reel seats & gimbals. AR series rods feature our exclusive Quick-SetTM butt made from a durable composite material that is comfortable and easy to grip, yet many times tougher than EVA and incredibly abrasion resistant. Instant hook sets are possible due to the ease of removing Quick-SetTM butt from a rod holder. On our RS models, you will find a Smooth Graphite butt, a high strength, lightweight graphite composite butt grip. Featuring blank-thru-butt construction, this butt slides in and out of rod holders fast and easy. I bought one of these rod and reel combos and love it. I fish for stripers and tuna and anything in between. I found this reel was smooth and durable used it fishing right along side of peen international 50vsx with penn tuna stix. and found the Okuma combination fit my boat, style of fishing and budget the best. great bang for the buck. can buy 3 of these for the price of one penn. my rods and reels are not used every day so yes price did come into play with my decision to by Okuma. Used the rod and reel 6 times last year, I have also bought penn senator roeel and penn mariner rods and dont like them at all, Okuma is priced the same and has lever drag. the penns were used 3 more times then the Okuma and one of them broke, thankfully with no fish on. Will be upgrading all my road and reels this season to Okuma Titus rod and reel combos
