I gave this to my boyfriend as a gift to use on his boat. What an embarrassment when we plugged it in, loaded it up, and in front of a dozen of our closest friends and coworkers, it spun for 3 revolutions and then died. Never worked again. It seems it cannot come in contact with ice, the way a normal blender would. It's billed as professional quality, but that's very far from the truth. Very disappointing. I'd love a frozen drink out on the boat!!!
