The Brass Stem is held into the plastic housing with about .125" of grip space. This broke, the fuel filter fell off into the bottom of the boat ... lotsa gas in the boat. Ended up with a $250.00 tow charge. DO NOT BUY THIS it is a disaster waiting to happen. If you have one on your boat remove it immediately.

This product is for use on Outboards only. This info is not readily viewable on the package. The instructions specifically state not to use with electric fuel pumps. Unfortunately, you have to open the package to read this and then you cannot return it since it is opened. I have an I/O with an electric pump so this was [$] wasted.
