Not sure why this is being offered on a boating site. If you have to cut the cable, you'll find that it is not tinned throughout meaning that if you have a boat in saltwater, this will take extra work to make it durable. You'll need to seal it well to prevent corrosion and if you are running speaker wire through tight and hard to reach spaces, you'll only want to lay speaker wire once. So do it right and find some tinned speaker wire.
