Comments about Standard Horizon Standard Horizon HX751 6W Floating VHF:

I am an avid kayak fisherman and this VHF radio fits the bill for all of the environments that I encounter. From the salt water of the Chesapeake bay, to the various rivers and lakes in South Carolina, this VHF radio is very dependable, has a long range for a hand held VHF and is built to last. The fact that it floats coupled with its rugged waterproof design allows for this unit to be at arms length at all times. You just won't find a better portable VHF radio on the market for this price.
