I was replacing the existing receptacles with the same SeaDog receptacles--simple, no? I know what I am doing and so do my friends and we could not get the wires to hold with the set screws in the holes provided. Set screws kept driving the wires back out. I will have to take these to an electical shop for them to make a soldered connection and leave me an 18" pig tail so I can make a butt-end connection on the wires. An unbelievable pain to work with. Nice quality, just VERY difficult to connect. We tried using both braided wire and solid wire. Neither one worked well. Either give us a deeper hole on the wire end or a bigger set screw to work with so we can get more torque on it with a bigger screwdriver bit.
