Bought this item as a gift to my brother who is a hard core fishing enthusiast. He specified this brand and model and he wanted 4 clips. I thought they were very expensive so I could only buy him two. Turns out they are sold in pairs, so I was pleasantly surprised when two pairs showed up. The ad should be more specific about the quantity in the package--I almost didn't buy them.
