instructions should say BE CAREFUL NOTHING IS LAYING ON THE GASKET which is probably why it leaked. Very hard to align everything within that seal before closing. others we had (the bigger model) didn't leak but that was after we learned the problems with this one. Would I put my electronics in one? NO WAY
