This is a great unit. We set the alarm at 10 feet everytime we're on Smith Mountain Lake. It provides a safety warning for unexpected shoals, and also provides digital proof that our lake really is 200 feet deep at the dam. It also comes in handy when setting turning marks for our yacht races.
Every boat should have one!
