Comments about Greenfield Greenfield Richter Anchor 25# Black Coatedboats Up To 30':
I have one of these for my 20' center console. My boat is a large and heavy Welcraft. I use it in the intercoastal of South carolina and off the coast as well. In this region the winds and currents can be heavy. The Broad River near Beaufort can have very swift currents. I had tried many danforth and other digging anchors with not much luck. Finnally I tried this anchor. It holds anywhere with an easy retrieve. Just drive the boat over the top of the anchor and it comes right up.
I was even fishing in 90' of water and only had 100' of rhode. Also there was 10' of chain. I put the anchor down thinking it would just slow my drift, but it held steady in 15 knot winds.
I would recommend this anchor to anyone, especially if you have to drive the boat and set / retrieve the anchor your self.
