I upgraded one of my deck chairs that had vinyl tips on the legs instead of rubber. What a difference. With the vinyl tips the chair was dangerous to sit in. It would slide all over the deck. It even collapsed with me in it.Luckily I had no serious injury, just a sore butt.With the rubber tips the chair doesn't move.
