Purchased the stainless steel model of the Beckson Vent-O-Mate, and mounted in on the back starboard cabin top of a Compac 19/3 sailboat. The vent works great. It is a must for any boat, that has a cabin, and is stored, docked, or anchored. The vent allows some light into the cabin, and in can be closed from inside the cabin. Does not let water get into the cabin! Cost was very reasonable, and installation was easy. Would buy one again!
