First off this reel is awesome! Quality made in the USA construction. I have this mounted on a St. Croix tide master 6.6 fast action rod. This is my primary setup when fishing from a boat. I use it for Fluke, Striper, Sea Bass, you name it. The magic cast system and lever drag is unbelievable. No thumb needed when casting!!
