screw in 4 screws on each side and slide into your existing brackets. It took less than a half an hour to install.

The seats came with a couple of small slits...but was compensated for them. Quality of vinyl seems a bit on the cheap side, but the seats look good and they install into the existing boxes. I did have to shorten the mounting tubes a bit so the seats would install and slide into my existing set up. The seats will occasionally "unlock" and you have to set them back into their full upright position. All in all, fair to good.

I just purchased 2 of these to replace the original seats in my 96 bayliner capri 1850. The factory seats had wood based frames that collected moisture over the years and began to rot. The seats needed a little coaxing in order to get a straight fit, seemed that the slide pole under the seat was a bit too long, used a hacksaw to trim 1/4 inch or so off each side, after that they worked great. They feel sturdy and look to have pretty good quality. I'd like to see the price come down, but compaired to having to install new bases, it could be considered a bargain in time/expense that it saves.
