The boat does what it is marketted as doing. We live on a river that opens into a sound so our desire was to "paddle" around for exercise and to enjoy a "close-to-shore" experience that included site-seeing and "visiting our neighbors". It makes us feel like teenagers (we are 60 but my 23 year old and I had a ball, too). Great fun!
