Comments about Eagle Eagle Fishelite 640C Single Frequency Combo External Antenna:

I have owned two of these units and find them to be the right size for my 21 foot boat. They are simple to use, but can be frustrating trying to enter a waypoint if you are underway. My first unit ingested water from a strong rainstorm, I never removed it as the unit is advertised as being waterproof, I sent it back to the Eagle and they replaced it at no charge [...]. The second unit they sent was brand new but ingested water as the first one did and Eagle is replacing this one at no charge to me as well. It's a shame because it is a cost effective, easy to install piece of equipment but I'm not convinced the unit will assit my complex transits should I get caught in the rain.

Comments about Eagle Eagle Fishelite 640C Single Frequency Combo External Antenna:

I have had 2 of these units (first one out of box wouldn't turn on) and the second only worked for about 2 years.I'm now having issues with the power button. The unit turns on and off only when it wants to. I have done some research and seem to find the same issues on other reviews.
