Comments about Storm Lures Storm Lures Wildeye Swim Shad:
I use the Storm Wildeye to fish for striper on Lake Texoma. I am a full time fishing guide and have not found a swim bait that out fishes the Wildeye while going for striper. My customers that want to lure fish get a great chance at hooking up with this bait. It's presentation is really good at any depth. Most days I use the 5" or larger and any size range of striper will take it. Many people fish with sassy shad here because of it's long history of doing well on this on this lake. I have found that the Storm Wildeye generally out fishes the other swim baits, including the sassy shad, by at least 3 to 1 on most days. It is rugged bait that can catch a lot of fish before it needs replaced. Cost is a big factor in my business and I get great use out of a Wildeye before it is beat up from catching tough stripers. I have been able to impress many customers this year that have never fished with them and they want to come back and fish with me more because of our hook up ratio.
