This problem has been solved by super slick, non-abrasive Spectra Fiber composition and unique EBT ( Enhanced Body Technology ) processing. It's rounder and more compact for an unbelievable strength-to-size ratio. The line ties more easily and holds knots better. It has near-zero stretch and no reel memory. When you cast, Spectra Fiber sails effortlessly through guides for longer distances and maintains its performance over a greater amount of time versus any regular monofilament. Use this line with 1 of 2 knots, either palomar (prefered) or loop. Does not fair well with other knots and will become the week link in your system.
Due to visibility , use this line with a leader, 12" for stained or muddy water and up to 3 feet for clear water. If you cant feel a strike with this line in deep water, your fingers are asleep!!!

Excellent product with high durability. Extremely strong - be prepared to change your gear to handle such strong line. Extremely sensative. It's expensive the first time you buy it, but it lasts for years as opposed to changing it every year as you do with monofilament.
