This is the original green monofilament. Though often attempted, no other manufacture has duplicated the exclusive color and characteristics of Maxima's Ultragreen. This is a great all-around line for both freshwater and general saltwater fishing, casting well on spinning, bait casting and larger conventional reels. And even though it's soft and limp, Ultragreen retains maxima's legendary tough, high durability finish for superior abrasion resistance. This line is strong, and silky smooth. It is easy to tie leaders and must be hard to see for salmon. I have used this line for twenty years and will continue - it works best.
