I have herd pros & cons about ths product alls I can say it worked fine for me. could be a little heavyer just got it put 300 yrds of braided line on my shamono 6500 bait feeder reel with no hassel in 2 minits but with braided line should run line from bottom of spool to top of spool reel to get the full afect of tensioner alls I can say use a little common sense should work fine for ya .

I can see how to spool bait casting reels, but I use spinning reels and cannot figure out how to spool them and keep tension on the line using this product with the parts provided. Glad I didn't pay for it.
