I use the c-120 on a sailboat, a beneteau oceanis 473. It's installed at the chart table and i enjoy it every day. it has lot's of possibility's and it's fun to play with...

After installing several other makes of chart plotters and radars I found the C120 to be one of the most straight forward units to install and intergrate with my radio, Autohelm depth,speed and auto pilot. All this with the 4kw radardome makes this the easiest units I've ever used. On congested waterways the MARPA is a godsend.

I did a lot of research on integrated Chartplotter/Radar systems. I found the C120 to be the best value by far. I installed the system myself along with a 2kw Radome. It installed easily. The system performs very well, I especially like the ability to overlay radar to the chart. As a new radar owner it has provided me the ability to learn to read the radar much quicker. I think the 12" screen makes viewing the chart much easier. I found the C120 was competitively priced with other vendors 8" plotters. Raymarine's technical support is outstanding - had a question on wiring and they not only answered it promptly, but provided me additional insatllation tips.

Overall product evaluation is great product, however very complex.. Also when in water shallower than 3" Depth finder blanks out.. ?Keep your manual with you!Still need to add the Radar [...]... so this item, could be quite pricey!,,, once again still worth the cost!
