I have installed three of the x86DS sonars on my boat in the last month all of which have suffered transducer failure to some degree within two to three days of opperation. The last unit I installed came up on simulater mode imediatley and starts in simulater with default settings no matter what is tried.However once programed to the settings of preferance the sonar seems to work fairly well.
