Comments about Garmin Garmin FF140, Fishfinder with Transom Mount Transducer:

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I'm not very familiar with these devices, so I did alot of research and compared more than 5 websites prices. This product had consistently good reviews in regards to ease of use, verstile for deep and shallow waters, and recommended for the small bass boats. Boaters World had the lowest price [...]What more could you ask for! It goes without saying, I will definately use Boaters World again for future gifts for my husband.

Comments about Garmin Garmin FF140, Fishfinder with Transom Mount Transducer:

I use my model 140 as an easy guide for depth in shallow local water and as a finder. The temperature feature is also a nice to have. One thing which would make even better would be a seperate connection between the transducer and the display which could be broken for easy removal

Comments about Garmin Garmin FF140, Fishfinder with Transom Mount Transducer:

I installed it on a temperary board to allow relocation for the best place on the boat, a 16 ft with a 40 hp Mercury. It aquires quickly and keeps providing output even at speeds over 15 mph. Its easy to setup and easy to read the screen. You have to remember to turn it off when your through or after a couple of days you can charge your battery again. Its all they said it would be.
