The carriers kept the kayak very stable especially at highway speeds. Once the carriers were mounted to the rails strapping in the kayak takes some time. You need at least two people to set up the straps. The materials of the carriers are high quality.

I bought an impex ,mystic kayak- carbob-kevlar k-lite composition. The J-bar supports caused dents to the sides of the kayak. The j-bars cannot be adjusted accomadate the shape of the boat to distribute the weight.
Don't use this type of carrier for k-lite boats!
