Easy to install, however, it should come with a flush mount adapter (I had to use the one from my old VHF). The controls are simple and intuitive...you don't have to spend hours reading the manual. Boaters World had the best price on the internet!

I mounted the unit inside the boat and have the remote for the helm station. Looks good.
wired an out let for the hailer and it works great.
Wiring is bundled together which makes it somewhat confusing to install.
