Not knowing much about ICOM I asked around to find out it is quality equipment. Our current radio was about 18 years old and showing some wear and tear. I found this one on sale and installed it in about 20 minutes. It came with the mounting bracket, wiring, connectors, and great instructions. It was easy to learn how to use and has some nice safety features. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a mid range radio at a great price. I also added a remote speaker on top of my center console to allow me to hear when the radio compartment is closed. This ICOM had a external speaker connection and I hooked it up in about 2 minutes. Great price, great product, easy to install, and easy to operate.
