    I installed this stereo on a my 18 foot boat in spring of 2009. It is now fall of 2009 and the stereo does not work. THIS UNIT IS ANYTHING BUT WATER PROOF, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

    my son installed it with not much difficulty. sounds great--very pleased with stereo.
    the only thing i don't care for is that you have to remove faceplate or it will run down the battery.

    Electrical instructions are done from schematic...if ya can read colors and have basic eletrical experience (butt connectors, etc.)a breeze....I mounted mine in water proof box with quick connects for removal from boat while stored....great sound, better than some I heard at much higher prices........and easy to use.....and I am even an engineer!!! Great Value

    it don't play real loud, but is able to be heard over my 115 hp boat engine. it also has a good looking white face and speakers.

    Excellent stereo unit/package, especially for the price. I installed the package in a modified/ lifted golf cart/buggy. I added two Dual marine box speakers. I also used an amplified antenna that I purchased from Boaters World. Everything works well so far. Great sound! No complaints.

    After years of ugly, poor-sounding "boom boxes" being used by our kids and our guests in the upstairs "dog house" of our houseboat, I bought this package on sale. The main unit installed easily in the side of a cabinet and the speakers were mounted on the sides above the windows. Very easy to cut holes and lots of help with templates and measurements. All necessary wiring was included. It took me about one hour to have this baby installed and playing cd's (including cutting the openings). My kids are ecstatic and the stereo really counds nice up there !
