We use this pump to empty pit blinds and to move large quantities of water without being permanently mounted. It works great!!Throw it in and it moves a lot of water. We tried smaller pumps and the "head" overcame them. This pump will pump a 6 foot head without wimpering. Also a great bilge pump for larger boats.
