My pump remains in my 14 foot Alumacraft boat always. I leave it disconnected until a chance of rain, then I connect it. It works perfectly. Always a dry boat. I live in Florida, and it handles the monsoon rains we get down here in the summer. Great product!!!

I installed this pump on a 1991 Boston Whaler Guardian. I was amazed at the volume of water it pumps! An oddity (to me, anyway) is that the pump turns on for a second every couple of minutes. I thought something was wrong with it, but that seems to be the norm for this model pump. That notwithstanding, the pump far outperforms other pumps I have used, and I thought the price was very fair.
